Reina's Tricks
Reina has developed some interesting abilities.
She eats jello with a jerk and a giggle. Watch for it.
She waves hi and bye.
And she can dislocate her ankle at will.
Family Visit #2
The park is a wilderness that has ruins of old forts, and many different memorials.
So after a quick bathroom break we continued on. Playing on fences and with rocks.
It's short but they loved each other.
Thanks for coming Scott and Sue Ann. We loved seeing you all.
Reina's 1st Birthday
We opened presents.
One of Reina's present's was a new car seat. Actually it was for Lauryn, who gave her old one to Enoch who gave his old one to Reina but we thought we'd let her open it. She thought it was fun to sit in.
She also got a xylophone but liked eating the sticks better than playing (still does).
We also had cake, of course. Since we were celebrating for Reina and Alita the cake was half a flower for Reina and half a basketball for Alita. The actual result was kind of weird but, oh well.
I have to put this clip on even though it is sidways. This should confirm to anyone that our family should never, ever sing. We are the only family that can turn a nice, exciting song like 'Happy Birthday' into a psychotic funeral dirge (even with Mom's prompting to speed up)
during and..
after.
Family Visit #1
We took Jeff to Peggy's Cove since he had not been there befrore. It was a beautiful day and we took lots of pictures.
The kids had a blast climbing on the rocks and discovering tide pools, shells and small caves.
I think even Jeff enjoyed finding small caves.
We also attempted to go to the Bay of Fundy but it was too rainy so we ended up going to Kentville where they were having a Safety Fair. The kids enjoyed trying out the police motorcycle...(utter happiness)
and police car.
Notice who the criminals are. Look closely.
We also had a pinata. After breaking a wooden spoon and a plastic badminton racket Alita finally just stabbed it open then...
The kids really enjoyed having the family here.
